So is the game illegal in Europe/UK?
https://www.jdspicer.co.uk/site/blog/crime-fraud/guide-to-uk-pornography-laws#Is%20bestiality%20legal%20in%20the%20UK?

Is bestiality legal in the UK?
No. Bestiality porn (often incorrectly spelt as beastiality porn) falls under extreme pornography law.

The law makes it illegal to possess images of people performing sexual acts on an animal, whether dead or alive. It is the task of the judge or jury to decide whether an image is pornographic.

Bestiality pornography can also fall within the Obscene Publications Act 1959. Guidance from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) states that where an act shown in a publication is illegal, it is likely to be obscene.

There are no images or film of real animals in Baldur's Gate 3.

Nor is the act in question shown in frame.

Good thing BG3 doesn't fit that legal definition. Phew. Really dodged a bullet there. If you really care then call the police instead of trolling forums, maybe?

I'm not for it either, but it If the optional, make-believe sex scene between a druid and a vampire causes legal issues, then LS can just remove it from its content in those regions. Movie and game companies do that a lot; it's not going to be a big deal for them one way or another.

*sigh* here we go again....
Are you saying Larian used a real life bear for that scene?
Also for the law to apply they would have to actually show the action, not just imply it.
There have been plenty of other examples just like this in games and other media and they all are perfectly legal.

...Is it wrong that I'm disturbed that this needed the dead or alive qualifier?
