heck no i dont want a marking that will make me stand out in non evil society , also as far we know the goblin seems to be the only one that cares about the mark

I,ll likely let myself be Branded just to use it as an infiltration tool.
Hopefully it dosn't come with any downsides.

I've only played a little bit of EA to try the combat and classes (my first CRPG) so I don't know much about the absolute yet

You need the mark of absolute from Gut if you want the Gloves of Bane to be helpful.
You can kill her after one party member gets the mark.

As for me, i play Paladin , so i talked with all 3 of the leaders and then fight them.
I had to kill them.

yea my dark urge is superior to those minions , i hope i get the option to beat her to death with the brander

No, Branding is not obligatory for that,
But you cannot be race that has Fey Ancestry, because you will not fall to sleap when she gives you sleep potion .
