I geniuenly fear for this forum on launch day.
Y'all think this brigading we're dealing with right now is bad? Hoo boy, buckle up.
Edit: of course we,ll all be playing but those who don't own the game or those who check by the forums to see if someone might have run into a potential issue they may do? Yeah.. xD

Just refer to this for an accurate summary of what launch day will be.

This game is a "safe space" and as such, you can be certain the "how many people are playing", come launch day will be illustrative.

There will only be 2 type's on the forum on launch day.... people who are having tec
problems because of their old toasters and trolls.....everyone else will be busy
playing....

Once the game launches I doubt most people will give attention to these forums. It's a cesspool with people throwing out bait posts to farm points. Reddit is much better for actual discussions.

or you know we just prefer Gog in general...
Considering I had to download the entire ~70 GB game again on GoG after every small patch, I can honestly say that I'm not a fan (and I have 125 games on there).

Easy, dont visit forums at launch. Aside from useless topics, I imagine there be a lot of toxic people spoiling the game left and right on purpose.

It is actually kind of funny. I have been through a good few game releases on steam and all of the major/long awaited releases by studios of more than ten people seem to have this same cycle: announce release, get coverage from at least one gaming site, get called out for at least one aspect by at least one influencer, then the forums become a mess from that point until about a month after release. By about a month later most people have forgotten whatever issue they had and gone on to other things. BG3's cycle may be dragged out by the PS5/Mac releases, we will see.

I wouldn't worry about it, mods seem to be doing a great job keeping it clean. UwU
