The "resource management" is a joke. You're never in a situation where you're low on camping supplies. I've full rested after pretty much every major fight in the game. My supply is still nearly 1000.
All it's doing at this point is forcing you to stop whatever you're doing ingame to initiate loading screens and cutscenes, just to get your abilities back. And you have to do that every 15-20 minutes.
That's how I was playing, but after the game told me resting affected even the dialog... I don't know, something just felt wrong.
Me bout to generate literally infinite spellslots on a sorc by going in and out of combat repeatedly because my resources refresh
You and I are not the same. I live for the challenge of not rest spamming, you treat it like Baldur's Gate 1 and 2.
While I did complain about the die mech, it is mostly related to whole animation time consuming process being tiring, so you are free to have your D&D mechanic, I don't mind it existing as much as I mind it being so frequent.
As a bit of an aside I just learned not long ago that people in your party complaining about being tired means that someone has something to say back at the camp.
oh
that's better
