I hope they did not ruin him. And I agree on the original voice actor. Great job. Not sure why they would change to a different voice actor. Unless the Original was no longer available.

Strange. Voice actor is already as good as Gale's or Astarion's. It was the presentation & dialogue progression that was bad. And combat too, since Wyll missed every hit even with advantage. Warlock is boring in my opinion & on top of that they refused to release any better subclass.

And the homebrew change to Pact of the Blade as it'll appear in 1.0 means that the "Blade of the Frontiers" style of warrior-warlock will be much more realistic than it was in early access.

Did not have a issue with Wyll's combat. He seemed to hit just as often as in any other companion. He actually soloed the Gith patrol after the rest of the party were all dead. Then again, I do like playing a warlock.

the problems with the voice actor was that it was too masculine . Being mostly non-binary the voice did not match the how the char should appear. Neutering the char was the only option, which can be clearly seen in ze/zirs new physical features. I am very happy with what they have done, I just wish they would make all the chars like this. The game needs more diversity.

Maybe VA was too busy with schedule for re-recordings. So they needed to change him, sadly.
But as for changing, his story seems to be much more engaging on release, connected to Karlach and have already even in act 1 pretty diverse branching, depending on how he acts and if he is following Myzora(his patron's) commands.

A shame and a downgrade over the original in my opinion. I have my own feelings of another reason they changed it. But not going start a lot of mud slinging and insults by sharing it. Not worth the hassle and it is going to be what it is.

Normally, i would be upset with your thinking, but i want to help you. To be honest, you need to upgrade your thinking to modern times. Perhaps a trip to the local library for RuPaul hour could enlighten you. Some many young people have educated this way.

lol. No thanks. I am very comfortable in how I think about things. We all have our own convictions and need to stand firm in what we believe. In other words, be true to yourself.

Besides, it's a game and not worth haggling over one's personal standards. Each should play them as they want and enjoy the most. That is what video games should be about. Entertainment. Not politics or religion choices. One reason I am not going to share some of my own personal convictions. You are free however, to use your own imagination of how I am.

I think the original voice actor did just fine. He was just working with what he'd been given, which wasn't a whole lot to be honest. I'm thinking LS misinterpreted the community's feedback on the whole Wyll thing, and they should have just reworked his lines and character rather than an entirely new voice actor. Since they went this far, I'm a bit worried what they've transformed him into.

The original voice for Wyll was far better than the new one will be imo. Wyll is one of my favorite chars in the game. Always get him as a part of my party. Not sure that will be the case in the full release. We have to wait and see.
