Algorithms have figured out its easier to make people want different things and direct the masses in a small number of directions than it is to learn individually what each person wants. The cats will get you eventually.

I think you are watching more ''political youtubers'' instead of gamer ones. These people hate everything that they think is ''Woke''. And since the bear incident and that people can customize their genitals they are now upset about it. Even though these are not people that would buy the game regardless.

What's great is they don't even know the definition of that word and actively describe something that has no place in relevance. Painting the picture of your opponent as hysterical, cultist and crazy has always been a popular tactic of such people because acknowledging the valid points they're making would mean your own world comes under fire.

10% of the reviews on Steam are negative.

I always read the negative reviews after reading some positive ones. I was thinking of buying but now not sure at all about it. Yes quite a few are going on about lack of content but there are a lot of others criticising the gameplay and saying combat is too difficult. So not sure if this is the sort of game I would enjoy.

the game is woke, it was never this woke before, I have no delusions that it was never "woke". It had subtle wokness, but never sacrificed its core game to be political correct in current times.
