More faces

Anyone else feel like the amount of face presets is quite limited for each race/gender combination? Especially compared to the number of hairstyles it's odd why there's so few faces to choose from.

Also it would be great if humans, half-elves and elves shared the same presets imo.

Worst case mods will do the trick but I'd rather not rely on them tbh.

I wished they had sliders to make unique faces. Even Monster Hunter and Dragon's Dogma had more options in their presets.

I just like to create a character that I know someone isn't going to be using the same face on their character.

Uhmm you do realise you're talking about the EA build here that wasn't really updated a lot since 3 years ago?

The 1.0 version on the 3rd will have vastly more options.

I do. Yet we have no confirmation that they actually will expand on that. The last PfH didn't show anything like that. Half-Orcs had like 5 presets to choose from.

Ok I get what you mean then. I don't think it's worth worrying about tho.
Even if some choices are limited, I felt like there's waaaaay more here than we actually need. Also: Comparing this to other character creators is futile because there is no game that I remember that has this many races to choose from. They mentioned during the Panel that haircuts alone need every hair placed by hand.

Recent info revealed through those with access to Act 2 and Larian themselves have shown there will be more faces. Not many, but it's pretty evident at this point. There's also a lot more customization.

You get to customize your junk instead because they decided that people are going to make almost the same face anyway, and having your custom junk apparently lets you express your identity better.

Nothing new related to face presets though. We saw the presets for female half elf I believe, and got 7.. whew.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game already but the lack of faces in a game with cinematic dialogue around every corner is disappointing.

Facial presets make this game feel very dated. Heck, even Oblivion had facial sliders, and that was back in 2006.

It tells us that some people might be in positions they should not be. I wonder if that's the result of Larian growing to 400+ ppl company, gives me CDPR and cyberpunk flashbacks.

They definitly shoud focus on making more face costumization.
