WTH is going on?
I haven't played this game in some time and wanted to hold off for the release. Then I start seeing a bunch of recommended videos on the tube about B3 and yea what is going on with this game? Why is there so many degenerate aspects in this game? Bestiality, foot fetishes, genitalia options and what? We get that option but we can't have options to make custom faces for our characters? Did I just turn old or something or has gaming gone off the deep end? What the hell does this have to do with DnD and Baldurs Gate?

Thankfully for them it wasn't a necklace of fireballs
Can the pearl clutching be severe enough to be considered CBT?

So you want to ignore periods such as the second great awakening, or 1868s comstock era, or 1930s when it was questioned what should be defined as obscene when it came to certain matters of sex and you can certainly bet sex with a bear would have fallen under that. Something that wasn't resolved until 1957. And that's just American history...

Yeah that's enough random examples...

The point being that yes there have been ebbs and flows of what has been accepted around the subject of sex.
Yes, the thing is that my examples are considered periods of major development in society and your examples are...the great depression and the civil war.

Gonna go ahead and say that one of these sets of periods sounds a lot more successful than the other for societies.

LOL that's your retort. That somehow the state of society in those times is correlated with sex?

No your examples are of places that are by far the minutia in the world around sexual expression of that level. Feudal Japan? Pretty much any muslim country? India?

They had nothing at all to do with the development of society but nice way to try to correlate them.

The point still stands. Sexual expression has always ebbed and flowed throughout history. The US probably more so than others until the 60s, 70s, where it gradually and then more than gradually became more prominent in various mediums.

This is pretty much what happens when the kink cult is influences a product. Most are not part of it, but identifiers tend to be pronouns in the bios and flags that represent sex. Their entire life appears to revolve around their sexual preferences and pushing the fact that their preferences are a kink into everyone else's face. Even though this is already a subculture, these people are a subculture of a subculture as it appears that most in that subculture do not align with these individuals.

Traditionally, sex in D&D is typically glossed over by the GM to something as simple as "Okay you get laid." or "You are sore, but you had a great night. Roll to resist disease." In D&D video games, it was mostly the same back in the 90s and it seems that the further we get away from those days, the more games seem to spiral. It is unfortunate, but true.
I mean, even if it was in the game as a silly easter egg I wouldn't care. But it's being paraded during PR events as if it's a huge selling point of the game. And stuff like genitalia being part of character creation kind of showcase how big of a focus it is to them. That's usually what you go to mods to do if that's your thing.

Why is there a need to add this of all things into every single thing we watch, read, experience, etc. And before someone goes off on a violence tangent... yes that too.

You have free will to choose what media you consume. You don't have a right to choose for others.

"we're showing off our interesting romance options and also our increased character customization"

"wow society truly has fallen"

what else?

b)if you see this event, it is because you 1)romanced the druid, and 2)choose for them to be a bear.

so your willingness to see it is entirely your choice.

calling is "degenerate" is telling in general as only purtians care about that.

gonna care about shooter games too? romance games? wheres the made up in your mind line on what is acceptable and what isn't.

cause its just that: your personal bias. you don't like the D&D "i wanna ♥♥♥♥ the dragon" joke, fair, sure, then all you have to do is: not do the prompt for it.

and again: slippery slope is a fallacy for a reason, you aren't gonna go out and ♥♥♥♥ a bear cause you saw it, in the same way violent video games don't cause violence.

You can mask any fetish you want with game play reasons but we are both smart enough to know the BS behind that.

I too have the intelligence to understand, no... to know, that all entertainment, ultimately, are an externalized product of our perverse desires! Heathens, everyone, everywhere! hiss!

Correct just as no one else has a right to choose anything for anyone else either.

Increased character customization? BG3 has extremely shallow and minor character customization. You can't even create your own facial shapes, etc.

And if you think it's an *interesting* romance option, you're actually unironically degenerate. It being funny, I can get. But interesting?

Ah yes, Heian period Japan is totally known for never having anything sexual ever....wait

Oh

That novel I mentioned earlier was from Heian period Japan.

Well at least India never....wrote a famous text about sexuality with instructions for homosexual sex. Or anything.

Oh

So...who's forcing you, the OP, or anyone else to play or select these options then?

Just...don't play lol report, move on. Guarantee based on legal precedence it won't change ♥♥♥♥ but you have that right to.

This is so disgusting! Turning off normal customization, but putting in all kind of wierd fetishes. I don't know what went wrong with this studio. But i really hope this blows up and gets dragged to court! Disgusting! And i supported this in the early access. Bleh!
