Multiclassing question

Hi,

I didn't buy the game yet but i'm pretty sure i will in the next days. I was peaking some content of the game and findout that "Multiclassing" will be avaliable, which appears to be possible after level 2.

So, i can be a druid and have a bear with me (that i think is only avaliable for beast masters)?

Yeah, you can choose druid to start, then immediately class into beast master ranger at level 2.

Just be aware that none of EA content or saves will carry over into the full game! Multi-classing isn't available in early access, but the pre-release purchase is worth it just to get used to the game and get the deluxe edition.

rangers get their subclass at level 3. druids get their circles at level 2. so to be a bear with a bear pc has to be level 5.

Slight correction. While you can choose to become a ranger at levle 2, you won't be able to select your sub class until your ranger level is 3.

But another question, does it take too long to leveling? I don't know how long these 4 levels might take.

But another question, does it take too long to leveling? I don't know how long these 4 levels might take.

level 3 can be taken withing first one or two gameplay hours. getting to level 5 will take a fair bit longer. 15+ i'd say.

The first few levels are pretty quick, but it slows down a lot after 3. You can get to level 3 just in the first 1-2 hours of the game. But getting to level 4 is a lot slower.

I see. For what i heard this game will have about 100-120 hours so it's pretty much the beggining

You can be Druid / Beast-master Ranger but it is not a good multiclass.
You need 3 lvls of ranger to be a beast-master.
And the real problem is your animal companions will only get better with you Ranger lvls.
And your Spells and Wildshape will only get better with Druid lvl.
Spells are not that bad since ranger is a half caster.
But it will hurt your wildshape and animal companion a lot.
Neither Beastmaster or Druid are really good for multiclassing, specially when max lvl is only 12.
