1080 strong enough for this title?

I know my cpu is plenty strong for this title, but I am wondering how my older gtx 1080 will perform at 1440p?

Have you looked at bottom of store page at system requirement and compared your own?

You need to have at least an SSD and 150 GB available space.

1440p? That depends also on the rest of your rig. Graphics performance is not solely based on the GPU. System bottlenecks can effect the performance of the GPU.

If a player has a strong CPU, their system supports Direct Storage and the game does, that will help. But without knowing the rest of your system, if it does meet the min specs, I would say it could run it at 1440p on med settings.

1080 is more than enough for 1440p @60 high settings.

Div engine is about cpu power mainly if you hit the min recommened for that you'll be fine. Game runs great even on the very bottom end of pc's

RX 5700 XT is under 'recommended' tab. Which is a tad more powerful than your 1080 . So you should be fine, but 1080 is also way older so it will probably boil down to driver optimization.

But you can always just use 2 hour refund window to see if it performs to your liking.

Yeah, you should be good. Med/High settings. But it's just a guess and the final release may be more optimized than the EA. Or worse because of improved visuals being added.

Pretty sure that's about what I was getting at EA's release with a 1080. Well actually I think it was more cause I have a 165hz monitor and don't remember if I had capped it at 60.
