Humans will have polearms proficiency, so this points to a human monk having a glaive as a monk weapon.
Keep in mind that fextralife is the only source for this, and he could simply be wrong.
Maybe more info available when more people get to game. At this moment people who are familiar with core 5th edition can give some insight.
The only common monk multiclass I can think of off the top of my head is shadow monk / rogue (in 5e).
You can even go strength and con as main stats and use barbarians unarmoured defense, meaning you solve a lot of monk issues. Not just higher damage but higher health and much better defenses when raging.
In the table top you have to use str based attacks to get rage damage. Not sure if they allow dex based attacks for rage damage in this game.
