Is it possible to transfer my dragon knight build from pathfinder kingmaker to this game?
Since both games have D&D mechanic.

Explain exactly how the build works and what it does

Pathfinder doesn't use D&D. It uses Pathfinder. Not only are these mechanics deviant from each other, one operates on a simulation of 3rd edition D&D while Baldur's Gate uses 5th edition. They're extremely different systems. You can probably recreate it as an homage or something but not 1:1 faithfully.

1:1? No. Different systems, even those that do share some history (like pathfinder and D&D) unsurprisingly have different rules, mechanics, and class features. It would be more likely if BG3 was using d&d 3.5 (i.e., the edition of d&d that pathfinder grew out of) rather than 5e which is significantly different to 3.5.

A reasonable facsimile? That depends quite heavily on what features/mechanics your pathfinder character has and if those or a similar feature exists in d&d 5e at all. There is also the question of whether the level 12 cap in BG3 is high enough to make a (possible) d&d version work. For example, maybe the key features that would make your d&d character feel similar enough to 'work' would require 5 levels of sorcerer and 11 of fighter (total of 16) which would not be possible in BG3.

I think it is pretty clear and a safe assumption (or at least a charitable one) that OP meant both systems use the same core mechanics as in both are d20 systems, weapons determine the damage rolled in both, both have races, class, spells, etc.

you'd have to describe your build
5e generally isn't as crazy with its classes as Pathfinder is

There was no Dragon Knight class in Kingsmaker, right? People multiclass a lot more in Pathfinder and would wait to get a prestige class like dragon disciple to use dragon powers.

D&D is much more basic. If you want a knight with dragon powers, I'd recommend the sorcadin, you start with Paladin to gain heavy armor and smites, then switch to Sorcerer for your dragon powers

You can't do this right now.

Although to be fair you won't be able to do it later either.
