Can you catch tadpoles?

There's several instances where after killing someone or something a tadpole appears and runs off very quickly, has anyone been able to catch one?

Considering the new system, I'm guessing they just sit there, let you pick them up, and slurp them down like alien escargot.

No, but also never tried. They kind of just disappear after a few bounces.

in EA right now, every time you kill a true soul, a worm will come out and very quicly ran away. if you are quick you can kill them

you can just turn on the turn combat mode and kill them very easly ^^

in EA you can kill them that's about it in full game they changed how they works so time will tell if it's actually worth not to use them...

I always forget to do this.

Last true soul I killed was outside the caves near Risen Road and Wyll actually mentioned seeing a tadpole scurry away in about a second.

The one in the Underdark is probably the one visible for the longest but I wasn't able to capture it when I tried.
