Report a translation problem
I will probably take fireball but it feels like such a basic choice. The other obvious one is counterspell.
didn't play EA that far but yeah, just seems like it will be useful in this game.
With a 6/6 split and the only tankish char in my party but maybe slightly squishy with 6 bard thought about Vampiric touch or shield ( reaction spells sound good ). Vamp touch isn't super strong but could be helpful in pinches.
To your other point not only is Paladin/Bard combo really interesting roleplay I think it is very powerful too. Some tank, smites and great skills for being face of the party. Thought long and hard and it is my choice for first playthrough.
Just not sure and race until I see what abilities they get. And can't decide yet between 6/6 or 8/4. Was leaning 8/4 but this thread made me think more.
8th level Paladin i'd likely take the polearm feat. So I would be missing out on that. Betting I will find an item or 2 to boost ability and not need the 2nd ability score improvement
