Questions from an old Baldur's Gate's Fan

Hello everyone,

Baldur's Gate 1 might have been one of my favorite games of all times.
I'd like to know a few things before deciding if I should get BG3 :

- I love playing Solo.
In BG1 I did the classic OP sorcerer playthrough, and the OP warrior / mage dual class.
As XP was shared between companions, being solo made my character Very powerfull, which I loved.
Is this possible in BG3, or is it the same leveling system as Divinity OS, aka no XP share?

- I understand the combat system is based on Divinity OS.
Do you still have the feeling of playing a Baldur's Gate game, while in combat?
For example, are some of the mage spells the same as BG1, or are they created for this game?

- Is there a workshop for this game?
Modding can make a game 100X times better.
If there currently isn't a workshop, will there be one?

- Will the price go up at release?
I'd like to watch reviews from people who have beaten a game, before deciding to buy it or not.
Will I be able to do so, without having to pay more than today?

You could purchase one day before release to get the free upgrade, don't play it until you have read reviews. If those reviews suck, refund it within the two week window.
