Warlock + Paladin? Best level plan for this?
What is better IYO? A few level in Warlock and then rest in paladin? Or a few in Paladin and the rest in Warlock? Any tips or ideas?

Depending on what proficiencies you get and if heavy armor has stat requirements, this multiclass is gonna work differently.

4 levels of Pally, then 8 levels of Warlock.

Pally is pretty frontloaded in terms of features, in an ideal world where the level cap would be 14, i'd say 6 Pally, 8 Warlock, cause at 6th lvl the pally get Aura of Devotion, wich is one of the most broken feature ( +CHA mod to ALL saves to anyone in a 10ft radius, paladin included, Death Saves ARE saves by the way)

You want the maximum of Warlock levels, cause of Eldritch Invocations and Pact magic slots

One more pally level gets you the magic defense aura as ancients oath. That alone is worth so so so much.

Id say at least pally 7 is just too good to pass up.

I think it’s either Pal 2 for Warlocks and Bards who can get extra attacks from their non Paladin class, and then you have the slippery slope leading from Pal 5 to Pal 8.

5 - Extra attack
6 - saving throw aura
7 - oath ability (ancients is superb)
8 - ASI

As a palalock, I think you'll be fine without the extra ASI at 8, since you only *truly* need cha, which you can max out at level 4 of either of them, the value of feats vs more features is debatable.

Fair. It just sort of continues a progression for me of “just one more level and I will get X,” but I could see an easy argument for giving it up given how good level 5 is for Warlocks (spell slot increase plus invocation plus pact thing).

Whereas I don’t know what Paladins gets at 3, given that oaths show up at 1.

One build I'm envisioning is 8 lvl warlock/ 4 lvl berserker. I'm taking berserker instesd of pally since you get bonus action attacks and crazy agatha armor/rage synergy. Its also not very mad since Charisma will be your attacking stat.
