Took me a few tries to figure this method out. Seems to work well for my party. Love knocking the hobogoblin off there, does like 30 dmg to him.
kid goblins, women goblins, elderly goblins, none of them were spared from the wrath of my blade.
Didnt care if they were aggroed or not. they getting a blade right to the neck.
My understanding is that it kind of warns you about this in the quest text. It basically says that without the goblin leaders, they will just have no one pulling the reigns anymore, so they just become rabid goblins instead of a concerted effort. But arent they all infected? Or are only certain ones infected?
doors shut, nobody went outside (nobody entered the encounter either) yet after he died (even if he died instantly to hole) it would just remove the "temporary hostile" effect from everyone and i had to deal with more of the camp.
That's silly design though. Unless they see you do it they shouldn't know it's happened unless you leave the area and come back.
yes, can even long rest between bosses.
