So I just rolled back to 536.67 and my performance is back to "normal".
On 536.99 I was getting massive stutters and frame rate dips into the 30's and 40's and never going above about 70 FPS. On 536.67 I'm consistently getting 90 to 110 FPS with occasional drops into the 60's.
I run at 1080p on a i7 7700k, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1080.
Nvidia just dropped the ball on 536.99 for user's with older sytems.
RTX 3090
32GB RAM
2TB NVMe
I actually had stuttering at 1440p 99fps so I was going to drop it to 1080p 60FPS.
After the patch, I haven't seen a stutter 1440p 144fps.
was smooth as silk before.. major update regret
Not saying it's the driver fault. Could just be a new area in the game I'm in but the previous driver was fine anyways.
Only for all these people to have issues with said driver updates.
i only update each year or so its good enough
