How’s the new nvidia driver been for you ?
I want to install it because I haven’t updated my drivers in months but my pc is so stable right now im afraid to do it

Did the driver improved your performance ?

There wasn’t a noticeable effect on my PC. Not sure if it helped or caused issues, but no news can be good news (looking at you Microsoft).

Working very well

for me its way better than before,
it might also be because of the new patch, that also improved performance.
before the driver update and patch i would get frame drops quite alot on ultra settings, sometimes as low as 40-50 FPS, but now with the driver and patch it never drops below 60 anymore. game crashes on on Vulkan for me so i only use DX11.
my specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, 3.80 GHz
GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
Motherboard: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge
RAM: 16GB
Windows 10

I would claim without taking accurate meaurements that my 4090 now reduced its power consumption. It was over 300w constantly, but now below 300w.

I have fps limit of 120 thus 4090 is not working at max.

I installed it this morning and so far it's worked fine. RTX 4070ti

That’s awesome
Yeah I will update, cause my game is stable but drops frame to 45-50 sometimes on rtx 3070
I had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ full time framedrop stutter mess before the driver, with my 4090 and evne an 13900K... lets see if they fixed that. dropped to 30-60 fps on ultra in some areas, this cannot be. full timeframe died multiple times...

much better (60fps) on my 4k monitor now (with special nvida DSSL option) on my nvidia 2080. Before it was aroun 30. (full hd was 60fps no problem)

I didn't download it because the previous driver has been fine for me. 2080 super.

Seems to have improved my FPS drops in certain areas. Much smoother now.

Lots of positive here, but if you're running well don't touch it. I went from 80-90fps to 20fps after updating. RTX 3080. Unplayable.

EDIT: I'll leave this here - but I am wrong. All I had to do was edit individual game setting to prefer maximum performance (nvidia control panel) and now I'm back to where I was yesterday.

3060TI and over 100fps on a 2k monitor on ultra settings

i saw on reddit something similar, and the guy updated the post that the game fixed itself after he restarted the game like 5 times and his pc, and now his framerate is good
so maybe try it ?

dlaa is witchcraft, paired with dlss on quality it drops my gpu load by 30%+
because you're running the game at a lower resolution. say 720p and it's being made to look like it's higher.
personally i think that's really just a lazy way for developers to optimize their game. DLSS should not be some developers should rely on. but instead something that's a bonus or to help struggling systems.
