I Just Ripped Gale’s Hand Off
And it felt so satisfying! Playing a Dark Urge playthrough and killing Gale is the best thing that ever happened to my game. I saved magic items, money from him having to ‘learn’ spells and no more arrogant prick in my camp.

So much better.

Just reached act 2 with my dark urge character and I'm really liking the implications of their story. So far it seems like it should be the default choice for an evil character.

I can't wait to sit on my skull throne.

Frankly Gale is the one Origin character I always like to have in my party, love his voicelines, he's low key brutal: "one word and you burn", etc.

I really wish I could do that to some other characters tough.

Oh no you have to give him 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ magic items worth 150g each in act 1, how ever will you Financially recover?

Wait so you bit gale's hand as well? have you met him again at any point? I really want to know what happens with gale if you meet him later after biting his hand off XD

No, I suppressed the urge for Gale. Given Gale's circumstances, his morals seem fairly pliable.

Wizards are good at manufacturing fresh skulls, I need them for my throne.

Gales only eats 3 magic items and if that breaks your bank I don't know what to tell you. I've been drowning in magic items, scrolls, and gold from the start. If you actually learned his back story he has a reason to be an arrogant prick. He was a Chosen of Mystra and slept with her. Who wouldn't be a bit arrogant after that. Granted he messed it all up and lost all his abilities, but that's still a hell of a resume. More than can be said of dark urge just being a murder hobo.

funny... Most of these items he consumes arent even that good or worth keeping. There is abudance of gold and camp supplies, literally everything... I mean, he's kinda free XD

My chaotic good character agrees with you, but my dark urge character is glad to always have a "helping hand" in his inventory.

My chaotic good Bard also agrees with you. However, Shadowheart's gullibility and selunite tendencies will not help me get this skull throne built any faster.

I won't read this thread due to spoilers, but the moment Gale started crying for magic items I wrote him off. He even threw a temper tantrum the first time that I had no magic items to feed him. He's worse than a hungry dog.

He can be the first to walk the plank. I've always hated Wizards, anyway.

Never mind his hands. Escort him to the guillotine.

Take his head off while you're at it.
