Drow Fighter, Deep Gnome Wizard (Evoker), Tiefling Ranger (Bounty hunter?), Elven Cleric of Meilikki/Life. The cleric does almost all the talking with her 15 CHA.
shadowheart, my healer, also in plate using sentinel and polearm master so me and her are side by side as tank specced full casters using our reactions to protect eachother. shes a tempest cleric and has a Deva serving her at all times.
Gale is a conjuration sorcerer wearing the Shar armor and a shield giving him an ac of about 20 or higher at all times, he uses a staff with his shield but most importantly he specializes in casting Dethrone and Artistry of War to annihilate enemies in a single cast. When theres many enemies he casts fireball, works best with his Myrmidon Fire Elemental that is permanently under his control.
Lastly is my assassin Karlach who wields a 2-handed weapon with as much damage as possible, great weapon master, and focuses on either paralyzing her enemies or attacking enemies that I paralyzed for her, giving her 3 back to back automatic critical hits every turn, and with over 150 hit points and having resistance to all damage, shes quite a durable companion to have.
Unfortunately, this is also my only option for party composition as everyone else either died or left. rip
At level 5, I find that I have to look at the individual enemies (on controller, point at and tap down on d-pad to pull up info) and judge how difficult the fight will be, tpk, reload, go to camp (no rest), trade out party to counter the opponents' abilities/stats, leave camp (returns to same place), wipe the floor with the enemies, find out the next encounter needs a completely different composition.
I can't find a "well-rounded" party to work in the majority of situations (much less consecutive encounters). This must be a video game factor because tabletop DMs usually adjust combat for the party unlike digital DMs that require the party to match the encounter.

Really hate this mechanic.
They should really do away with this point system and instead tie relationship progression to companion quests and their interactions.
