he also roars for backup on the first turn.... if you can't nuke him on the first turn it's simply bad luck for you (same goes for shaman priestess gut)
(Seems silly that they all suddenly realize they're leaderless without explaining why—we can make all kinds of psychic/psionic-powered assumptions, but they'd be just assumptions and headcanon.)
