Getting Disarmed deletes your weapons

So ive been disarmed a couple of times, every time the weapons disappear from the game entirely, not on the ground, not in the inventory, not in the corpse of the one doing the disarming, anyone else?

You'll have to start using disposable weapons.

Isn't there a 'evidence chest' everywhere you can get arrested etc?

No its an attack an enemy can later on do on you, i wasnt sneaking around or anything, just plain old fighting and having my weapons getting sucked into the astral

I got a lot of disarms in the mid game - and always were able to retrieve my weapon in the next turn.

That's odd. I've been disarmed a few times and throw weapons all the time. They have always been on the ground after.

Same just happened with me. Got disarmed in Gith temple and weapon is gone including from all previous saves from before the disarm attack.

You sure you didn’t just accidentally left them on the ground? That’s happened to me a couple times in this game.

Nope. In all earlier saves character is no longer equipped and the weapon is gone.

i was disarmed, took me almost an hour to notice. i went back to the combat site and weapon was still there on the ground.

Wow, something that even effects saves is pretty game breaking. You guys should use the bug report link in the stickied Larian post to let them know what happened.

Remember to give them details like where it happened and what weapon you lost.

A game doesn't alter all savegames retrospectively.

Found this thread because the same thing just happened to me. Was hot with Heat Metal and disarmed, and now the weapons just do not exist.
