Romance options after rejecting an advance
Hi, is there any way to start or continue a romance after rejecting a characters advance? They have high approval with me however I rejected their first advance as I wanted to see more options. Am I out of luck with them? Specifically Karlach and Asterion.

Well, in reality continuing to try to advance after a rejection is usually unwelcomed. If this game has at least any "sense of shame" build in, metaphorically speaking, than you are out of luck.

Reality isn't everyone saying yes right away or the first time, so not sure that tracks. Regardless, even if the character doesn't pursue it, there should be an option for the player character to try if they like.

Im curious about this also. I rejected Halsin because I wanted to pursue my romance with Shadowheart, and then the very next long rest Shadowhearts romance scene triggered, so I'd love to be able to have a second pass at romancing Halsin now that I've locked things down with Shadowheart (especially since he was open to having her join us!).

I have to disagree ...

With the character development available in this game, it makes perfect sense that with a reset of a character's World View would also come a reset of romance triggers.

For example:
Shadowheart was a sadistic, hate spouting, nemo in the first act . In my gameplay, she's since had major upgrades in outlook and attitude. It makes perfect sense that some would change their mind about romancing her, AND she would most likely find it very affirming (not shameful).

Cant see why it would trigger a reset at all.

I read somewhere you can start two possible romances at the same time, no more. After you shoot one down you're out of luck. Better to avoid the dialogue options for romance altogether if you're not sure yet who you want to pursue.
