I remember that exaggerated news that BG3 had 17k endings, they corrected it by saying that this is an amount of outcomes, but I just can't fathom how can it be even close to reality.
Oh and I really hate the "real" identity of the emperor
As an example, I romanced Shadowheart and she only had one line in my ending - "Good thing I learned how to swim." Seriously? That's it?
I think this could be solved by having one last scene where you can walk around and talk to the remaining characters before the final cutscene.
Yeah, it was sooooo underwhelming with shadowheart. I thought that Gale had more physical scenes (For example his platonic star-gazing scene is as big as Shadowheart swiming scene)
I feel like they should add like 5 minutes more to wrap up the story, but people will call me a troll for asking that
The 'fallout' slides would've been so much better. Even if it wasn't animated but a photo and narration story of each party member. Hopefully, Lurian does a DLC doing epilogues
I feel like the whole ending is rushed, from the moment you get 3 stones and after it's pretty weak. Were slides and narration ending added in D:OS2 later in Definitive Edition, or was it there from the start? You also chill with Malady and other crew members before properly "finishing" the game there, was a nice touch.
Hold up, you mean you promised her before the final battle? I didn't do any of that, and I got a dialogue before the credits, where she said it was the best sex of her life and I chose to stay together and she was excited. Or do you mean that specific exchange wasn't good enough?
This game does not deserve it's praise until it's actually finished, a story heavy game with no ending is just bad storytelling.
Having a character call you their soul mate and then stare at your lifeless corpse like a bug-eyed moron is terrible writing. There are files that indicate more was supposed to happen, but Larian didn't bother implementing any of it because Starfield comes out in September.
