Can you romance another after a break up?

I am in act 2 and i broke up with someone little after the start. Are there other chances to get with others later? I want to make sure I dont screw up my game when it comes to romance.

I have the same question. I had the romance scene with Karlach but I want to break up with her and romance Shadowheart. Is this possible?

Not 100% sure, but I think Sven did mention it in one Panel from Hell :) I tried to get both and both love me and Karlach isnt even jealous in a Brothel, but they dont want to join me together... Tsk! :D

Given the romance triggers are so broken in this game, it's probably best if you pick one companion and stick with it for now, maybe in a few months they'll sort out the broken romances.

It has not happend yet, and I am in act 3 and I been trying to get with Shadowheart.

I broke up with gale at the start of act 3 and I started romancing halsin and it worked for me I'm not sure about shadowheart :).

I think you need to be courting Shadowheart during the Trials of Shah, but I'm not certain. All I know is for the Shadowheart romance was very much a slow burn for me. All of act 1 and 2 and we finally had our moment at the start of Act 3. I would think that, I could have romanced someone else in act 1 broke up and then went Shadowheart, but I'm not sure if that is possible in act 3. I think its too late, because of missing the trial of shah and giving her support through that. I've heard there is a possible three way with Halsin and Shadowheart, but since I played a druid I haven't used him in the field at all. So I don't know what that entails.

I was romancing Karlach, slept with Lae'zelle, didn't commit, and karlach still told me how much she wanted me but I'd already chosen Lae'zelle. Offered to be with her and she said "Nope, that'll hurt Lae'zelle." In another game I was with Karlach and the same thing happened, but this time with Shadowheart and it gave me the chance to break up with Karlach for Shadowheart. This game, the one where Karlach told me to stick with Lae'zelle has just seen Halsin try to get into my trousers after being commuted to Lae'zelle for about an Act and a half. Shadowheart never came on to me at all even though she was the first to max approval. On a sad note, Lae'zelle just dumped me for sleeping with Mizura. Wtv, by far the best love scene in the game that I've seen. I've noticed the guy romancing a girl scenes are pretty...not great for the most part. The guy + guy and guy + guy + girl are all pretty...much more explicit.

Shadowheart, in my experience has been the most difficult. I have no problem romancing her, but I have to start with her and still be involved with her during the trials. Then when she gives you the "I knew you were going to pick someone, I just thought it was going to be me" speech you have to tell her you didn't know and wanted her the entire time, then go break up with whomever (if it's a girl as the game won't let 1 guy be with two girls for reasons I won't get into, if it's a guy then she doesn't care nor does she care if you sleep with Mizura) at which point you can go back to her and get you "eh" love scene and a peck whenever you would like during the game.

Same question. I romanced Lae'zel, but after breaking it off, none of the other companions have any romance dialogue options at all. WTF?

Apparently you have to finish her story first. It was kind of happening for me after then except I was using a mod so it didn't turn out as planned. She said she would meet me at the beach when everyone was asleep but when I entered sleep mode there was a short black interlude and the it was morning and when I spoke to her it had seemed it had happened. Not sure if it was a bug or the mod I was using
