LARIAN LET ME CHOOSE MY CHARACTER'S SEXUALITY PLZ

I'm sick and tired of rejecting male companion's advances every long rest, I keep telling them that I'm not interested and they still want my booty, it's on the verge of sexual harassment. Please let us choose our character's sexuality like you can choose their pronouns, thank you.

The only that's made an issue of being turned down is the Githyanki. The wizard says some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Nice Guy TM stuff now and again, but none of that has interrupted anything. Even that settles down after a while.

I think you get a bit of passive approval, even with characters that are just afk in camp, from certain story events.

By all rules of social convention and awareness, that's how sexuality works in a social setting.

In life, if you go to a bar, you will be hit on by other guys who think you are attractive and want to bone you. Go outside, experience a healthy social life, what Larian has done is more reflective of the real world.

The only thing is, they made the companions playersexual. So whatever reality of your character's sexuality, the companions are attracted to them.

That means, as a male player character, Gale and Wyll for example, will become gay, and Shadowheart will be straight. Opposite with your female player character.

So yes, you still get to choose your own sexuality, by denying or accepting them, lustfully..

Cool, I still don't want to be hit on by people that I've rejected. It's creepy.

What if you don't go to bars, and don't want to hit on/be hit on by people? Your entire recruitable party is full of teenybopper personalities that want to sleep with you. You can't get away from it no matter which character you choose.

There's been more than enough noise on this forum to warrant a simple "not sexually interested" flag on any gender/animal you don't want to sleep with at the character creator screen. It would take a programmer less than an hour to make a hotfix like that, and - like non-binary - if you don't like it, don't enable it.

But sure, the vast majority of humanity is a bigot for not going into a gay bar and accepting drinks from people we don't want to sleep with

They don't leave you alone, I rejected Gale's advances 3 times and I was in act 2.

No they don't, they keep hitting on me and making advances, Larian can fix that with a sexuality option in the character creator, everyone's happy.

You do realize that the majority of people who bought/supported/funded this game did so 2-3 years before this inclusive romance BS was in the game, right?

Imagine crowdfunding the next Shrek movie, and 3 years later finding out that it's a Shrek/Donkey porno. But the sales are great! This is what the people want! If you don't like it, don't buy it!

Well it's too late. We bought it before bear sex existed in the game. We funded the salaries of the programmers that made interchangeable genitals. The "don't want it don't buy it" argument sank 3 years ago.
