**Spoiler Alert** The Grand Duke Not Showing Up In Camp...

I rescued the Grand Duke and it says that I have to speak to him in camp, when I talk to Wyll he says the same thing but he's not showing up in my camp no matter what I do. Anyone else have this issue?

go talk to wylls demon in wyrm rock before going to lower city... you will see why

Cause there is a chance he died to random trap in wyrmrock that goes off while fighting the boss. and she can fix that

In my playthrough he was not next to Wyll. he was near Shadowheart (In Elfsong Tavern)

It seems the glitch it caused if he didn't leave the sub before you

Nevermind, the issue was with the Wyll's quest, you have to speak with Mizora in your camp, then duke appears. Speaking advances Wyll's quest, since I first freed him from the pact, then rescued the duke despite Mizora's attempts at stopping it from happening.

What I have found is, that this is due to a certain bug, in which Ravenguard (and the saved captives) don´t move towards the ladder of the submersible once you escape with it.

I had to do the whole mission again and gave up the inventor to the temple just to speed up the process because everyone just stood/sat around doing nothing.
All other attempts I made to correct that had the same bug so now I´m stuck with that choice (and I´m not doing all that again!)

If they are moving and you saw everyone get out of the sub, I suggest talking to Mizora only after you took a long rest, and Ravenguard should be there not too far

As far as I can tell, Ravenguard appearing in camp is tied to another bug that happens if you try to save Redhammer from the wavespeakers. If you're not close enough to him when the fight ends for his dialogue to automatically trigger, the game thinks he's dead, BUT the duke and the gnomes will get off the submarine. If you are close enough to him for the dialogue to trigger automatically, Avenge the Drowned will progress correctly, but no one will get off the submarine and the Duke won't appear in camp.

In my playtrough I got off the submarine and did the fight against the wavespeakers (anyone an idea how they get their in the first place? It is quite hidden. Did they follow the player?) and didn't trigger the dialogue automatically. I spoke to him afterwards and he thanked me. After that I did the foundry and when the place blew up in the cutscene he was declared dead in my log. After that I went to camp and spoke to Mizora "congatulating" me for the victory in saving the grand duke. Up to this point he never showed up and Wyll is only saying that we should head to camp to speak to him(while in camp).

So the whole iron throne/wavespeakers/foundry quest interaction seems heavily bugged right now. Poor Ravengard is locked up in that submarine is my guess.

ok. just re-did the fight a couple of times. Basically if you let them take him everything is fine. if you do the fight, make sure to stay next to the submarine with your main at all times. preferably with all 4 characters. if you wonder off too far the saved NPC's wont start walking out of the sub and ravenguard also won't appear in the camp.

edit: i'm more curious whether it's possible to get the reward and then rescue the dwarf from the temple. they're not killing him right away but rather taking him with them.

He is not appearing in my camp after the quest. It has been a few hours and I did so many things after, I really don't want to go back aaaaaaaaah

I rescued the Duke, he got on the sub before me, I handed over the dwarf, yet still no duke. I've long rested too, but nothing, just a marker over wyls head. I'm wondering if it's because I have already done the baldurian sword quest?

What i did in my play i saved him i break packed from mizzora. I found him to be at the cargo where the sub for the prison is. I cant talk to him but with shadowheard i shove him and start fight. You dont kill him just use dominate person. He will start walk out off the cargo. He will maybe again spawn in the same place but use long rest and he will be in camp. Try it.

In my play-through, Omeluum was also trapped there. He can teleport a NPC to the sub, so I saved him first and as soon as I unlocked the grand duke's cell I teleported him to the top. He was at my camp the next night I believe
