^^^^^ Cannot express how great that armor is. I have a half-drow Ranger and that light armor gives me the same AC as my +1 scale armor did and +1 to Stealth.
But I played it a bit unusual I guess. I hiered the female thief made her an assasine and sneaked up individuals.
Somewhen it went wrong and the whole Goblin Camp came after her. But they failed to see my three other party members hidden in the shadow. So I intercepted a few on their way and then it was on.
She survived with 1 HP .. :)
And the Bosses.. well one after the other.
The last thew one ..the thief ...down to those spiders so it became again interesting.
Later in the underground I had an awesome suprise fight with a beholder in the middle of some clifs and traps and my party splitted. But I had some drow arrows. They are OP ..managed to put the beholder into sleep twice. I won that fight at the end, Don't want to tell more and only those really exploring everything will likely get into the same situation.
That game is really versatile how you can approach and fight. I really like that. In that aspect it is awesome.
Hint: spiders
Wait you used grease and it actually worked? the AI failed the save?
I was under the impression this wasnt possible.
This game rules.
My biggest tips would be
-Only aggro as few enemies as possible (This can be life or death)
-Take out 1 target at a time (preferably casters)
-Use your consumables (early scrolls/poisons really pile up)
-Experiment with team comps. in D&D almost any composition can work. The strongest builds I find to be tanky, have utility, have damage scaling and are preferably ranged. (Exceptions for some builds)
Some builds I've found to be very strong.
-Eldritch knight thrower (Broken damage atm)
-Paladin + Warlock (Amazing build in D&D and an amazing build in this game)
-Fighter Duel Wielding Crossbows (High AC, High Damage,)
-Cleric (Maybe the strongest class in D&D 5e)
-Druid (Extreme Cheese potential)
-Gloomstalker Ranger (Stealth is really really broken in this game)
Having a utility character or a party that isn't perfect is fine. I only really play crpg's with 1 character with the exception of Xcom if you count that as a crpg.
