HELP! - Gale Romance Frustration/have I missed something?? [CAUTION ROMANCE SPOILER - Underdark SPOILER]

Hi everyone,

I'm doing a Paladin play through and early on I decided I wanted to try n romance Gale. However, while I have had the weave (Gale tries to teach you to control the weave) and Mystra talks, when I tried to initiate romance at the celebrations after rescuing the Grove I was told Gale wanted to get it on but he was afraid of the orb in his chest reacting negatively to excitement. Fair enough. Figured he was just being hard-to-get..

I met the Wizard in the Understand who has Gale's plot quest, and we had a bunch of back and forth, nothing really triggered or happened from that however. Now I'm aiming for Moon Rise Towers through Underdark and Gale stopped me after the first fight, saying how horny he was and complimented me lots, but said that now wasn't the time nor place to explore that desire.

I thought that a scene would trigger at the Inn or when I slept at camp next, however.. nothing is happening?? Am I missing something?? Is there some place or a specific point I have to camp to get the scene where they sit on the ground together and does the magic together? I heard that scene happens in act II but so far.. I got nothing, and I'm a bit sad if the opportunity has passed me by.

Gale is btw maxed out in approval, so it aint that!

If anyone has played through the romance or gotten past this point, could you tell me if I've missed something or is this perfectly fine n the romance scene will trigger eventually? I'm getting a bit hesitant to continue in fear that I won't be able to get the romance I want.

Hoping I'm somehow not too late to answer this, but I ran into this same issue except hours after this point... and hours after the one chance for the scene in question. When I'd already cleared Act II and moved into Act 3.

From what I've gathered, there's only one chance to get the scene and it's at a point where you might very well just press onwards due to the story. At Moonrise Towers, after reaching the rooftop and fighting the boss there, a cutscene happens and you have to proceed off the rooftop. Doing so locks you out of camping until the next major story trigger, and also *permanently locks you out of Gale's romance scene*, and thus his entire route.

To reiterate, once you complete the fight at the top of Moonrise Towers in Act 2 - STOP, long rest, and Gale's romance scene will trigger.
