Elfsong Tavern: Is it your permanent base now?

I kinda like the camping setting but ever since I rented a room in Elfsong, there are no more unique camp grounds? Is there a way to turn it back?

Sometimes im getting to the camp for rest, not only to the tavern

Hmm why am I getting only tavern then? Like I am at the underdark and I am magically in Elfsong. If I am at Riverton I will still rest tavern?

Also, where is the chest in the Tavern "camp"? There is an opulent chest with some loot but I can't find the actual gear chest.
