Thank you, but I meant "story progress for all the different stories in Grymforge" - the forge itself, whatever happens with Shadowheart and the Dark Justiciars which seems to be a thing that happens there, etc. - rather than progress towards beating the main plot of the game.
I'm romancing Shadowheart, and it would truly suck to play the game for another 90 hours only to realise that that (or any other) story arc can't be completed because Grymforge was bugged. And I don't know or want to know what her arc is, and it's just one example I know about, there might be others - I just want to play the game as it was intended, without being blocked out of a big chunk of it by a bug.
failing just makes you completely butcher the process of removing the head (made me lol) and your companions give you ♥♥♥♥ for being a noob :P
