No such thing my friend. My warlock pc punted her into the void on the 2nd turn with an Eldritch Blast. Felt quite underwhelming and I didnt get the +1 reward but whatever its not that great.
Threw a water bottle at the cage which stopped the fire.
When the hag split into 3 the next turn, I used spells which target multiple enemies, eventually found the real one.
My melee unit closed in and it was over.
Note: I was playing on Normal mode.
I had Detect invisibility on during the first part at teahouse.
Don't wear the mask to enter the secret area.
Even though you save Mayrina, its not glorious ending, play to find out lol.
I confirm. I did like this on Tactician. After you release the girl, the hag loses her invisibility and just stands up there. You then can sneak up on her, rob her dry (useful if you choose to knock her out instead of killing her for that stat point as she will leave after the dialogue and you can't loot her), and backstab the ♥♥♥♥ out of her with all your characters in like half a turn (speed potions may be required).
but it also launches her down the pit. So don't do that.
But yeah, bottle of water or ice spell.
I ended up using Ray of Frost, but be careful that it WILL do damage to the cage... so if it's already taken some damage, you might accidentally finish it off.
Playing a Paladin. No deals with evil witches for some petty reward.
Become an Oathbreaker Paladin and take her deal. Just imagine how strong you could get to protect the weak~ Sure, controlling the undead sounds evil as a subclass, but it's not evil if you use it for good, right?
It is not bugged. You just didint pick up on a hint it gave you.
