Can you save Mayrina?

I still can't save her, even after Hotfix 2. But I am doing it the lazy way - killing the hag while she's still in the teahouse, so I don't have to go through her lair. So has anyone killed her 'the proper way'? Did it work, or did Mayrina get stuck in the 1-st phase of her dialogue for you too?

EDIT: (Due to confusing wording in the OP)
I don't mean 'save Mayrina form her cage'. I mean, that if I kill the hag on the top floor (before she goes to her basement), I can not complete the quest 'Save Mayrina', because talking to her is meaningless. I talk to her, finish the dialogue and she stays around the table with the spoiled tart. Or if I let the hag teleport Mayrina, but don't allow the hag to follow her (by placing a warding glyph on the fireplace, so she'd get killed when she tries to escape), Mayrina stays around her cage and does not go to her husband's coffin.
Furthermore, the traps leading to the hag's 'workshop' (the gas pits and explosive flowers) do not get disabled AND Connor's coffin is surrounded by an Arcane Barrier, even after the hag's death.
Talking to Mayrina again just repeats the same dialogue ("You bastard! You ruined it!") over and over again, and does not progress the quest.

You can save Mayrina if you use an ice spell on her cage so it won't burn and drop her.

It's bugged.

So you have to kill her inside.

Throw a void bulb to the end of the ledge (put down mayrina first) after you sneak down (you need to know where she is standing first, she is invisible).

It's not bugged. I just threw a water bottle at the cage and it stopped burning. Y'all gotta stop spreading false news like that lol

I didn't even know there was a problem with saving her. My friend and I went through the whole thing and fought the hag in the cave without any issue whatsoever. This was a few days ago as well.

I, like others have said, just put out the fire on the burning cage. Thought that was just obvious though.

I saved her. Sneaked to the globe and lowerded the cage. She run to the edge of the cave. Without triggering the combat.
You still have to be careful not attacking the wrong person when the hag uses here spell to mirror her appearance.

I saved her easy lol. Killed the hag right after she teleported Mary out of the main entrance to her little hut. Then it was just a matter of dodging the traps leading down into the fireplace.

You can. You just need to be quick enough to burst Hag down before cage burns down and then she takes Mayrina out of cage and tries to make a deal with you.

You have good 4-5 turns before cage burns down.

The hag is invisible, there are spells in this game which allow you to see invisible enemies.

Regarding the burning cage, like others wrote, water or icespell, you can lower it.

get on high position with your chars when attacking the hag and use something like magic missiles against her doubles, or just take a look at their healthbars to see a difference.

Worked fine for me. I was already level 5 at that point so I was able to beat down the hag before the cage burnt down fairly easily.

Then the fight was interrupted when the hag was almost dead. The girl was out of the case and the hag tried to haggle for her life in exchange for a +1 stat bonus.

i declined and finished her off and the girl was saved.

Just get to the Hag either kill her fast, easily done if you have a character designed to alpha strike or alternatively if you are slow to kill her put out the fire on the cage.

Even in early access first play through when the early access was new this method worked.

I had no issue. I just interacted with the cage controls as soon as it was set on fire (gotta love misty step) and she'll eventually step off once it lowers over the next few turns.

He beat the Hag without her being able to retreat.

meaning he straight went for the eyes as soon as the party enter the decrepit tea house.

It's easily done. During EA this is the fastest way to deal with the Hag (if you don't care about the +1 ASI from the hag).

That +1 stat is worth way more than her but you can save her and get the stat if you pass the ability check lol.

Don't know why people think +1 is like worth the pain to kill the hag fairly tbh.

I just.. kill her. Finish the quest. Get slapped in the ass by Loviatar priest for stronger ability checks modifier and attack modifier.

I'm having trouble killing the hag in the tea house. She's always ahead of me in initiative, and my attacks miss a lot of the time. In EA I had no problem killing her in the house. To save Mayrina I just throw a water bottle at the cage and use a lot of magic missile on the copies.
