That said, I'd love another Dark Alliance or Champions of Norrath/Return to Arms game. Especially for the ease of multiplayer.
CRPGs(including this one) don't seem very friendly when it comes to the non-combat stuff for multiplayer. I keep thinking I'm playing D&D, but it's just not quite the same.
Makes sense. Valid.
I would love to see another game like such. It is easier combat, which isn't quite as fun to this game. I've been playing multiplayer with some friend recently, and love the engagement in fights. Feels a lot easier to engage the NPCs and the game overall seems to be more enjoyable - combat wise.
Outside of that, it is very much like a table top interaction. I get lost in it and forget I'm play in "Larian's World". It's quite appealing in it's own right. We banter as to choices when in voice chat before picking. This could be a pro or con depending on people's "alignments" and how they want to RP though. You don't have this with solo play often.
