how do i use a key
i have a key for a locked door but couldnt figure out how to use it and had to lockpick out of frustration. what did i miss?

Keys work automatically when left clicking on the door or chest, so if you left click and it says locked, then the key you have doesn't open that lock

You don't need to use it. If you have anyone that fits the door, it opens.

then it seems i had a bug. i was following a yt video to go through an area. did everything right but the door just wouldn't open
