Minthara Romance Bug Spoiler Alert

When talking with Mintara near Baldur, there are no special reactions in the dialogue, despite the appearance of an exclamation mark. Just the standard "go to camp" and "what do you think of other companions?" topics. Judging by the lack of rich dialogues with her in the near future, is this a bug that affects the romance with her?
Should I stop playing before the bugfix? Or is this not a critical bug for continuing the desired/potential romance with Mintara?

P.S. I spent a lot of time and effort making sure my first playthrough focused on Mintar (sorry Shadowheart, but I've wanted Mintar lanes since the first EA patches), so this is an important question.

Achieved 80+ relationship with Mintara. The maximum level of approval. Visited almost all locations where there can be unique dialogues and triggers of any romantic scenes. The only thing is that I don’t go to the final forks, taking into account the fact that I can still miss something. Repeatedly rebooted to find possible triggers and get as much approval as possible in the form of points and possible exits to "special dialogues". Including to avoid or bypass possible bugs. Which are obviously present in the third act as a whole.
I can say that unique dialogues continue to arrive in large numbers. There is a clear and obvious hint of romance in them. However, there is no explicit romance in the form available from Shadowheart, Lasiel and Karlach. No date, no "special scene", no permanent or at least temporary line in the dialogues.
Conclusion - most likely it is not a bug. The affair with Mintara is simply UNFINISHED and CUT. Overwhelmed as the main mascot and symbol of evil passing, every drow lover's waifu can be so underprivileged compared to every other companion.
I can say that I am quite confident in my conclusions, since I have played 170+ hours - and all are devoted to one single current playthrough, focused on fully exploring the issue of evil passing with Mintara and seeking every possible interaction and approval with her.
The character himself is as beautiful as possible, as are his dialogues and interactions for a dark playthrough and drow aesthetic. Really the main waifu of the game, as for me personally and even in its current form, the main argument for the "Dark Side". So now there is only hope that Larian will expand the romance with her to a full-fledged romance - like other characters. Otherwise, it will be extremely disappointing and leave a strange aftertaste. Much like drow poison.

Thanks for letting me know, I think it is then a matter of waiting. I really enjoyed the dialogue with her in early access but wasnt prepared to go all bloody in and slaughter the grove.

Major time saver, but will be interesting then to wait for announcement and probably the first youtube evidence of expansion.

basilfawlty1981, The most interesting thing is that even with a cut romance, just as a companion with unique dialogues - Mintara is extremely good if you go "the path of the dark side". Many dialogues are a small masterpiece of irony, causticity and cruelty. Plus, the depth of Mintara's personality is revealed - including her love of technological progress and refined wine. As is her loyalty to those she loves. Therefore, I am very surprised that with such a deep study of the image - the romance is unfinished.
I really hope that the romance will be completed and expanded, but NOT due to the fact that Mintara will be made available to the "Light Side" as well. Such a character should be a worthy reward for choosing the "Dark Side".

After defeating the adept of the god at the end of Act 2, Mintara first sat on the throne in the towers, and then the camp. Now she does not speak, fell out of the cell of the team and sits in the camp in my things. Found a solution in another thread. You need to kill her and resurrect, then she returns to the team

Lawrence, You didn't understand :) It's about the third act and the bugs/incompleteness of Mintara's romance there. The scene in the Moon Towers at the end of the second act I played without any problems.
She is present in the team, she speaks unique remarks. Read the thread - talking about the absence of events and windowed dialogue events about romance. Moreover, according to data from the network, it should be present in the game in one form or another (including the pregnancy of Mintara from the main character), but it is either cut out or bugged.

So I found some info that the devs now know it is a bug and they are working on it. Bad news for me, because it means, I will need to replay this romance with my next evil character, while I wanted to romance other one...

Ebony witch, On Reddit, I saw very mixed information. So this is very good news, if that's the case. After all, I've been waiting for this for several years in Early Access. You can wait a little more if Mintar is given to us in full :)

Ahah, for the sake of the first playthrough of the game - I took a two-week vacation. I hope that at least in this case it will be possible to start not from the very beginning, but at least from the Lunar Towers. Because I can no longer afford the second vacation in a row.

I hope we can just reload a newer save from Act 3, when we have finally excelent relationship with her, then we could just make some sleeps at the camp to trigger all scenes after every sleep. It would be the best to save the time.

Ebony witch, Yes, that would be ideal. Even if there are some points of interest in the "corrected scenario" that will need to be visited to trigger new scenes - it would be good to do this already on the entire open map of the third act.

Seems like a bug to me. I've been waiting early access like you for her arc, and I would be very sad if she was cut. But it is also weird that there is silence from Larian but non silence from their Discord.

From their history, this could be a patch 1 thing, or a separate Love and Romance patch like they did in Early Access.

thegabebinator, AAA, but after all, the companions themselves regularly impose romantic scenes, initiating them, even if in their process you "refuse" them or "break up with them." In this case, it is really impossible to initiate a romance with Mintara, if you do not basically play solo from the beginning of the game.
We have to wait for the patch, yes. The main thing is that the romance with Mintara is not cut out. It remains to wait for the patch and understand from what moment you need to start an earlier save so that the romance is initiated after the next patch.

Sad truth, but yeah, I'd say either patch 1 or some separate love and romance patch. I've been hearing that the Shadowheart romance is pretty buggy. I also feel like Karlach had some cut content that may get added. Assuming they follow their love & romance patch methods like in EA
