What is the point of the "toggle non lethal attacks"?
I turned the toggle on for the Hag quest in act I, but the NPC's that are knocked out are for all intents and purposes dead. Even the Quest NPC Mayrina, is counted as dead if you knock her out in the fight where the Hag uses her as an illusion. I feel like if I had actually killed her than I could revivify her with a scroll, but she is just knocked out, and I can't interact with her at all.

Even the Quest treats her as dead.

Possibly a glitch. You could just turn the toggle off, kill her and then revivify her?
But I've knocked out Netti after she tried to kill me for refusing to swear on wyvern poison and she was fine after a while.

can you revivify Npcs?

when i tried last it said "Must be a player"
Larian is just lazy trash devs. I quickly figured out how useless non-lethal is when I used it against the owlbear cub and the adult owlbear still acted like I killed it. Absolutely shameful and amateurish trash.

non-lethal more like, non-working amirite?

Yeah which is odd, because I switch to non lethal to knock out the two guys out cold with Auntie Ethel.

When I went to confront Mayrina, I told her that I knocked them but she reacted as if they were dead.

So it probably an oversight in their writing department that didn't give her lines if you did spare them.

Yea it's pointless, knocked out = dead from a quest state standpoint

Seems like they had to cut all content related to it, but left the mechanic in game.

I think it counts in situations where they REALLY planned for you to use it, but it's useless in other situations and they didn't bother to write most of the quests in the game around it.

That's what you get for being a wuss

Don't use it. I'm pretty it bricked one of my quests in act 3.

Double exp. Knock the target out, then save and reload, then murder them for exp again.

Stops Paladins from Oathbreaking maybe?
