FACTS!!!
I will say I think having a good relationship with a character shouldn't automatically lead to intimacy as sometimes you just want a bro to fight demons and ♥♥♥♥ with.
shadowhearts is the slowest, she'll kiss you in act 1 and think it was naughty. and won't even do anything else with you until act 3.
Gale's stuff right now is a known bug.
I barely interacted with him the whole game and in Act 3 my straight, always 100% Lae'zel committed MC dude had dialogue options referencing the "night they spent together" that never happened. Same thing happened to a friend of mine playing a female MC on dark urge/playing the game in a completely different way.
And to be clear buddies char only had eyes for Minthara... and maybe Shadowheart.
Not accurate, I have not once done anything romantic with Gale, at a specific point in the story, Shadowheart said she has romantic feelings for me, asking if I felt the same, as she was the only character I had romanced up until that point, I said yes I have been waiting for this for a long time. Right after, Gale in my party has a ! over his head, I talk to him, he's upset. We had a thing out of the blue. He is hurt I didn't tell him I liked Shadowheart. Which is strange, since early on in the game he asked who I liked in the camp, and I said Shadowheart, so.. I kinda already told him? Now I have to pick, her or him, who is it to be? It's out of nowhere. I have literally never done anything romantic with the guy, but the game treats it as if I had. That breaks my immersion. It brings the story down. The idea of a love triangle thing like this I don't mind, but I mind that Gale out of nowhere is romantically involved with me. I even declined his magic proposal that's been brought up and said he's drunk or something.
I noticed that there was supposedly something romantic that had happened between me and Halsin during the party when I talked to him in camp afterwards too. He made a remark about our night together. I guess I must have blacked out entirely, because I never saw a scene of that, nor did I know it had happened when he brought it up.
The romance system needs sorely some work in the future. It's bugged.
Edit: Okay literally right after that conversation mirror image Gale showed up to try to take me out to boink. This has to be a bug, there is no way they made him like this on purpose lol because at this point it's creepy
Me: "Sure. Ok."
Gale: "Nice. Here's some cool magic. And now we kiss"
Me: "What?"
@OP
It's your fault OP, you gave Gayle the attention he couldn't find among all the other team members, and you know, that loneliness, in that camp, with no hope of life because the worm inside the group members' heads. Then Gayle thought:
"If I must die, at least experience all kinds of things this life still has to offer"
It's your fault, Gayles was there, in her quiet place, why did you go there, with a lot of things to talk about, with just your underwear and that hairy chest? You can blame Gayle, but you were the one who go to him at this point! If you were looking for Karlach, Lae Zel etc, surely Gayle wouldn't have caught you on that magical night!
Woke is mostly pretending something anyways and then be mad it isn't a universal Law and generally accepted thing. Can I be woke too and use a mod that removes sS Interactions of that kind and pretend that I can adjust a completely fictional role playing experience to my parties needs or am I forced onto their status quo?
Basically, does their freedom to enjoy the game like they want to do necessarily need to interfere with my freedom to enjoy the game the way I wanna do?
And in conclusion, since the afforementioned question could only be honestly answered as "Yes" in the long run, one can see that "woke" is a joke.
