I gave a Dark Urge a shot, and let me tell you it's anything but silly. You can do and will do some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ♥♥♥♥.
I dont think thats it. I think the dark urge has some connection to the first two baldurs gate games where the protagonist is an incarnation of the god of murder. But I dont own BG3 yet, and I haven't played it.
It's still silly. It kind of reminds me of the Book of Vile Darkness back in the day. It's so over the top it just becomes kind of silly.
I guess there will be different tadpole interactions - since Ranger has so many skills where he is proficient (it was like 9) there will be some medicine and nature related options.
By the way it seems that dialoge options what you see are related to skills you are proficient with so tagging as many skills as possible seems the way to go and Ranger can a number of skills by taking only 1-2 levels of it
You're basicalky a Bhaalspawn or slayer or something (never played the original games myself).
There's a tie-in with one of the main villains, and I'll say this, despite some cringe dialog, she's the coolest of thevthree.
Hell you meet that kid in the harpy situation and the first thing dark urge thinks about slitting the boys ankle tendon and watching the boy drown in shallow water made us laugh, that's pretty dark
