power generator in arcane tower
I read up on how to turn off the automatic turrets. You ahve to put a Sussur Bloom in the power generator and hit combine. Well I did that, but it just gives me a message saying "not enough resources" and nothing happens. I've tried with just one bloom, I've tried with 2, neither works. I'm in turn based mode because it was the only way to send one person past the turrets down around the outside of the tower into the garden where the blooms are, then pick the lock to get into the generator room. Is there a way to get my other party members to stay in one spot without being in turn based mode and just ending their turn every time?

never mind, I figured out that if you are far enough away apparently, you can just turn off turn based mode and the other party members will stay where they are. But I still think it's a bug that you can't power on the generator in turn based mode.

Thanks for posting that. That is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug, I spent 1.5 hours trying figure out what to do and even when I gave in and googled, it still didn't work. After coming out of turn-based mode, it worked. Hope they fix that soon coz it's gonna piss off a lot of people

No, it's not. When says don't enough resources cos lack any action points. Changing items in inventory, using chests, and objects in turn based mode all count as actions. End your turn and try it again.

Also ya there is a way to control one char, there's an icon with tooltip called group mode. Hit that, or drag their portraits away from each other(note the chains when are in group mode, ie those are chained together as one unit essentially). Now only control one char.

turn off group mode, little button on the left below the party members portraits.
also force damage works well on the turrets so you can just disable them.
if you cant disable the turrets you could also have the entire party flee the room and make for the bottom of the tower, once far enough away from the turrets you can flee combat and that will also allow you to end turn based mode.

I reloaded an old save and ended the players turn and tried again, and it worked. So it does seem that 'not enough resources' (or in my case using controller 'interrupted') does mean lack of action points. A bit confusing, and not really explanatory, but at least I'll know if this happens again elsewhere. Thanks for the help guys.
