It depends on what type of negative status effect it is. Some can be cured/removed with spells/scrolls.
A full long rest also works I think.

For the Bloodless status effect: any Lesser Restoration spell (e.g. Paladin's Lay on Hands) will remove it.

I would love a Guide on how to get rid of various Negative Status Effects. Could not find any on the Internet, thus trying to create one. The W.I.P. is available for free on my Patreon Page ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/101826953 ) (also Steam, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, etc. do not allow me to post .doc or .pdf files, hence had to resort to putting the files on Patreon).

The Bloodless effect only lasts until your next long rest, and only gives you -1 to some stats, so it's rly not a big deal unless you're playing on a high difficulty (I play the entire game bloodless because I'm an Astarion simp, don't judge me). So just long rest, and you're good. Other effects can be removed by certain potions, most of which will tell you what they remove in the descriptions. Basic healing potions for instance remove burning in addition to healing - tho what they don't say in the description is that they will also remove bleeding. Short rests will also remove status effects that don't say they're permanent or last til next long rest in the description in your character sheet. Mostly experimentation and reading all the tooltips is the best way to figure these things out, ofc if you're playing a single save run or on a high difficulty this might be less helpful advice, but otherwise you can learn all you need by doing those things. ♥ Good luck, and enjoy your playthrough!!

Oh i understand the appeal, while astarion aint my type (none of the male companions in this game are) i can see his appeal to people very much ;) He'd also be the most likely to lay one of my characters, though with my main it has been more of a practical relationship. They think alike lol.

Cleric's and Rangers have access to Lesser Restoration, that will cure the Bloodless status. There is also a hidden amulet with Lesser Restoration on it, that you can find in the Druid Grove (Hint: it is under a moveable rock). If you don't currently have anyone with Lesser Restoration, just hire a hireling from Withers and use them as an "in camp" healer, of a sorts. I have Astarion bite my MC every day, so he has the +1 Happy status, and just use one of the above methods to cure the Bloodless condition.
Lots of good advice from the responders here. Have fun!
