Warlock spell slot?

What happened to the 1st spell slot? I loaded my game and it's simply gone leaving me only wih 2nd level

The way warlocks work is they upgrade their old slots. so their level 1 slots become level 2. instead of getting both 1 and 2.

But warlocks always had two slots on level 3 for example, when the 2nd level run out they could use the spells on 1st level

Warlock spell slots work differently than other spell casting classes. You don't keep the lower level slots in addition to higher level but rather the lower level slots "upgrade" to a higher level. Warlock have few spells slots but they refresh on short rest rather than long rest so it kinda balances out.

Warlocks work a little different. They don't have many spell slots, but they are always the highest level you can cast. They are also replenished on a short rest.

oh, damn, i went to read the 5e book on warlocks and it's right... i found strange because before the new version you kept the level 1 and 2

They also dont need to cast a lot of spells because eldritch blast is more powerful than any other cantrip.

This is the main reason I want my Sorcerer to multiplclass a worlock, Just to use that spell and its upgrades to make a powerful cantrip to use

there are items that do bestow a spell slot, a shield for example, which will let you use hex while spamming your cantrips and reserving your max lvl for upcasted nukes. There are also potions that can restore specific spell slot levels, and others that restore any lvl spell slot, im not sure of their effectiveness on the warlock.
