If you murder the alive ones yourself , you can follow the path to become bhaals killer or whatever. you can still do this if u dont murder but its faster.
If you follow the alive ones and stop them dying, you will find the dwarf and have to either save his victim or not but youll have to kill him no matter what. Take his bag of hands and read his letter for where to go next.
What are you talking about? The problem is, I found the murder site the journal told me to find ("Find the unusually elaborate murder scene"), and the mission doesn't progress.
oh you are further back, did u find the body under the bed in the attic@?
Leave that place. One body is in the city. Near inn, under bed. Stop assuming its a bug until you check thoroughly..
There is only one mission marker... Do you mean I must find both the mission marker and some other place totally unmentioned in the Journal in order to progress the story? That doesn't sound proper conveyance/quest design for me.
