"Seldarine Drow" don't make sense at all from a lore standpoint.
"Good" aligned Drow who managed to get out of the Underdark overwhelmingly worship Eilistraee as her focus is on the redemption of the Drow, she's not part of the Seldarine itself and the Drow don't worship the Seldarine.

Why did Larian invent this "Seldarine Drow" term when they could've just used "Eilistraeean"? "Seldarine Drow" implies the Drow are back under Corellon which they are not. Corellon doesn't accept Drow at all and you don't see Drow Clerics of Corellon running around, they're Eilistraeean.

The whole terminology of Seldarine Drow feels pretty awkward to say the least.

As a member of a group that has been playing only TSR 2nd Ed since the early 90s, most of the racial choices/combos seems kind of odd.
Wait until you delve into One D&D.

Yeah Larian seems to have improvised quite a bit on this.
There's also a "high elf" in the game that worships Lolth and wants to make her own Lolthite House and be a Matriarch. An elf Cleric of Lolth. It's such a strange concept lorewise that just doesn't happen.

Maybe they should have used the term surface drow. Or I don't know what is drizzt referred too?
