Pretty sure the distinction was made to avoid problem with gaining too many spells/loosing them via feats.
As for other feats that are changed - war caster, you no longer need it to cast spells while holding a weapon/shield. pretty nifty to buff your AC if your a half elf caster
does Spell Sniper also boost "cantrips", or just "spells"?
in its description it says "the number you need to Roll a Critical Hit with spells is reduced by 1." is it safe to assume it affects only "spells" and not the "evocation cantrips"? because if the cantrips are unaffected i am not getting this feat with my lvl 4 Druid :)
also what are the PHB feats? i am not familiar with this acronym
cheers from Germany,

Absolutely loads. Tavern Brawler is the standout though, as it has gone from being really weak to massively, incredibly, ludicrously overpowered.
PHB is Player's Handbook, the core rules for the 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons game Baldur's Gate 3 is based around.
I haven't checked everything in that list myself, but it should be mostly accurate.
Edit: Fixed a couple of typos.
Performer I think is because the mechanic to learn proficiencies doesn't exist in the game either.
There's a couple other feats granting proficiencies which may be the same.
