Temple of Shar Orthon never spawned?

I in the room with his bed I got attacked by the cat thing and other demons, but the Orthon never spawned for the fight. In the few guides outthere I am supposedly should have followed the cat for him to spawn? So basically now I cant proceed with Wyl nor with pale elf storylines, or am I missing something and there is a way to spawn him?

Very frustrating since I am losing like 10h of gametime after completing the temple and doing other sidequests... ._.
