So, they removed the ability to run multiple instances of the game with the new update.

For those who didn't know, you could use this to create your own custom party.

You can respec anyone to anything for 100 gold. You also have the hirelings.

That said, I'm sure this is yet another feature they were wanting to hold back for their "Definitive Edition" updates to come later.

Good thing I made a custom party and a save right at the start of the playthrough so I can always come back to it later just in case situations like this would happen in the future.

And damn im glad I did.

just start the game without steam being open. Steam blocks the game running multiply times, you can run the game without steam

Then just go use a mod to reenable it.

And yes, a single-player game can have exploits. If it goes against the way the devs intended for the game to be played, then of course they'll patch it out. Hence, go get a mod.

Yes correct but between all available you can usually make what you want. Not ideal but some ppl didn't know you could do that at all.

I'm not following, can't you just pay a pittance and make hirelings of exactly what you want at withers? I suppose you have to unlock withers but that's only like 1-2 hours in.

You cant respec horrible personality or looks. Hirelings too are locked to their presets.
Sucks to be you if you want to ROLEPLAY something like group of dwarven brothers or anything outside the LBGSFKL origins.

Yes, but I hate and I mean HATE their origin characters. The Hirelings are just as bad, but at least they don't talk.

This is disgusting behaviour. After I will finish a run with my friend, I would create a custom party for myself. And as others, I hate all the hirelings and origin stuff. And do not tell me I can respec them.

Tomorrow I am forced to do a custom start, just to have it saved in case they go even further and close the last option.
