Quest bug? "Talk to the strange figure". But no "strange figure"

After playing for a while I finally remembered the "Ancient Door" from the beginning of the game.
I lockpicked the door and realized I'll already been there before via another route, only now I was able to defeat the traps instead of just getting annihilated like I did when I first got there. (after which I promptly left the whole area)

This time I went through the doors and finally got into the crypt with the hidden sarcophagus, and now there's a quest that says "Talk to the strange figure". Uh..... huh? There's no strange figure around.

From looking online, it seems like they're referring to Withers, who I met awhile back and have already interacted with a few times.

So.... I think this quest should auto-complete if you've already talked to him. Maybe I"m wrong. Maybe if I now go talk to him AGAIN, something new will happen...?

So, if you have gone far enough into the story you may have encountered the man Withers, which allows you to change classes, go to your camp and talk to him. He is the "strange figure."

Had the same problem and took me a bit to figure it out just some deep internet diving.

Thanks for the explanation! I was wondering as well. Might've figured it out but not before scouring every inch of the ruins first in frustration!

If you go back to camp and talk to Withers you can complete the quest :)
