Complaining about D&D mage/wizard weapons
It's not the fault of Larian Studios but i have it with D&D wizard weapons!
enough games have wizard weapons that amplify magic. why do it not exist in D&D!.
anything can be magical amplifier a ring, a wand, a orb.

but no in D&D a mages (all magical casters) just get the short stick
this include Pathfinder, This game, all other games made with D&D rules bah.

there are multiple items in D&D that are obvious for wizard use? spell storing, refresher pearls being the two biggest powerhouses for casters.

also, in this specific game, there is at least 1 item that blatantly increases the potency of healing spells very early on

arcane grimoire is also their +X weapon.

I never seen a Grimoire in any of D&D games.

that include
Planescape Torrent
NWN +NWN2
Temple of evil element
Pathfinder 1, WoG
BG2 and BG3

comes from tashas.

older games had stuff like metamagic rods to just increase firepower like a sorc does in 5e.

or, you know, the staple "circlet of intellect" items

It doesn't matter. You can save scum every attack roll. Just reload the game until your fire blast or whatever does more damage.

found several elemental amp items...or items that add int bonus to spell casts. so..they do exist.

I got a magic missile one, give me one more projectile yay!
Because people wrongfully believe spellcasters are overpowered.
